At Cape Carraholly Retreat, we regard the health and safety of our guests with utmost priority. Each of our boat operators has their Pleasure Craft Operator License & Occupational First Aid Level I or II. Our boat operators are also trained on verifying pre-departure checklists, briefing guests on important information, knowing marine emergency procedures, and maintaining emergency contacts. Please review the following information to ensure a fun, relaxing, and safe boat shuttle journey to Cape Carraholly Retreat for you and your loved ones.

Remember to Bring:
-Sun protection (sunscreen, a hat- one that won’t blow away!)
-Rain gear
-Warm clothing (the wind can be chilly- even on summer days!)
-Proper footwear
Remember to Listen:
-Please respect and listen to your boat operator while they present safety demos before your shuttle begins
-Ensure you know where PFD (personal flotation device) is stored, how to wear them, and ensure the correct fit
-Familiarize yourself with the location of safety gear including fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and other safety equipment
-Remember the Man Overboard (MOB) procedure, including tossing a lifebuoy
-Be safe around the edge of the boat in case of sudden waves​​​​​​​​
