Each story begins with a journey

Nestled along the Burrard Inlet between Port Moody and Belcarra, Cape Carraholly Retreat offers an authentic and unfiltered experience of the outdoors. Accessible only by water, every visit begins with a complimentary boat ride from Rocky Point Park—a short trip that sets the tone for stepping off the grid and into nature. Though just 14 km from Vancouver, Cape Carraholly feels remote, offering guests space to disconnect from the city and reconnect with the natural world.

Our 75 acre oceanfront property features four three-bedroom lodges, five yurts, and one dome—each with an outdoor patio, fire pit, and hot tub. Many of the yurts and dome include open-air kitchenettes so guests can cook surrounded by the sounds and sights of the coastal forest. With shared amenities like our sauna, beach shack, kayaks, and a new 20 ft. by 20 ft. gazebo, there’s plenty of space to unwind, explore, and gather.

At Cape Carraholly, we support guests’ accessibility to the outdoors while staying true to the wild nature of this land. We encourage respect for wildlife and support guests’ freedom and independence to explore the outdoors at their own pace. Alongside individual stays, we have expanded to host yoga retreats, corporate retreats, small weddings, and other full-property retreats. We also welcome collaborations with other local businesses as well as film and photography projects that share Cape Carraholly’s love for raw beauty and untamed spirit. Cape Carraholly is an ideal location for those seeking a camping experience, but with the comforts of home. We do not provide ultra luxury in the traditional sense- rather, we invite you to experience coastal British Columbia as it is- wild, beautiful, and alive.
